Main Purpose of Role
Globeleq is implementing IFS Applications 10 across all sites in London and Africa as a single ERP system. The scope of the single Globeleq IFS system includes all existing and future power plants, as well as the London headquarters and the following domains:

Ø Operations & maintenance

Ø Project & construction

Ø Procurement

Ø Logistics

Ø Finance & controlling

Ø Consolidation & management reporting

Ø Human Resources management

Ø Environment & social governance

The IFS Administrator Expert is responsible for providing technical leadership for configuration, administration, development across the full lifecycle of IFS Applications projects: enhancement projects, rolling out the core model to new Globeleq sites, system changes, etc.

Key Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
Ø Act as liaison with third level support to:

o Ensure high availability and superior performance of installed IFS cloud infrastructure, oracle database, systems and application environments

o Troubleshoot and escalate unresolved issues

o Coordinate new software releases, fixes and upgrades with other IFS experts, in-country ITs and end users.

o Monitor SLA

o Communicate on system availability, maintenance schedules, system upgrades,etc...

Ø Act as a liaison with in-country IT teams to engineer requirements and/or determination of problems related to connectivity, systems & application integration, security, end devices configuration, etc...

Ø keep the “known errors database “up to date

Ø Develop expertise in the global solution technical architecture (cloud infrastructure, systems, oracle database, IFS application); how it runs on and how components integrate with each other.

Ø Maintain up-to-date IFS architecture documentation and service configurations.

Ø Develop and maintain application Jobs, migrations scripts, archiving processes, system & Oracle database scripts

o Service Management Coordinator: Service designer; Change Coordinator; Development and maintenance of ITSM procedures; Service Operations & Continual Improvement; Reporting on Service management KPIS & respect of SLAs

Ø Act as a guardian of the IFS ecosystem

Ø Understand the validated business processes and related IFS functionalities to provide necessary functional & technical support to end users of all domains (HR, Finance, etc..)

Ø Provide necessary training when necessary

Ø Assistance to management and end users to secure the first go-live

Ø Engage in technical coordination, design and implementation for the integration of next rollouts within the live environment

Ø Establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and an understanding of segment business models

Ø Ensure timely resolution of any incident and request in IFS and the meeting of Service center KPIs

Ø Meet the customer satisfaction objectives

Ø Strict compliance to the Service centre procedures and charter

Ø Development of interfaces, workflows, reports and customized components

Ø Bilingual: English & French

Ø SQL & software development

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
The preferred candidate would have:

· Experience in IT administration of a cloud environment

· Prior experience in Installation, setup, configuration and administration of ERP systems

Must have a strong enterprise technical SAP Basis infrastructure background


· Experience in software development (java is an advantage), and a readiness to learn new programs as they are introduced and incorporated.

· Experience in SQL development

· functional knowledge of an ERP application in the business domains listed above

· IT Engineering, degree

· Project management skills

· ITIL (Service Management) strong experience or certification

· Capability to remotely support end users

· Ability to interact with multi-team environment

· Prior knowledge in the power generation industry or similar asset intensive industry
