Main Purpose of Role
Globeleq is implementing IFS Applications 10 across all sites in London and Africa as a single ERP system. The scope of the single Globeleq IFS system includes all existing and future power plants, as well as the London headquarters and the following domains:

Ø Operations & maintenance

Ø Project & construction

Ø Procurement

Ø Logistics

Ø Finance & controlling

Ø Consolidation & management reporting

Ø Human Resources management

Ø Environment & social governance

The IFS technical Expert is responsible for providing technical leadership and administration across the full lifecycle of IFS Applications projects: enhancement projects, rolling out the core model to new Globeleq sites, system changes, etc.

Key Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
Ø Deep understdanding of the validated processes to provide necessary technical and functional supports on the application to end users from all domains (O&M, HR, Finance, procurement, etc..)

Ø Develop expertise in the IFS standard functionalities and customization possibilities to recommend adequate solutions to business challenges

Ø Develop and maintain application interfaces

Ø Develop and maintain customized functionalities and objects

Ø Develop and maintain workflows

Ø Develop and maintain reports through crystal reports or IFS tools

Ø Data Management including migrations

Ø Develop expertise in the IFS architecture; how it runs on and how components integrate with each other.

Ø Provide necessary training to end users and develop appropriate manuals & medias for training and self-service.

Ø Assistance to management and end users to secure the first go-live

Ø Engage in technical coordination, design and implementation for the integration of next rollouts within the live environment

Ø Establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and an understanding of segment business models

Ø Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests in IFS and the meeting of Service center KPIs

Ø Meet the customer satisfaction objectives

Ø Strict compliance to the Service centre procedures and charter

Ø Proper documentation (processes, knowledge base, designs, etc....)

Ø Recommend new feature or changes to customized objects/ workflows based on user feedback.

Skills
Ø Bilingual: English & French

Ø Proficient in architecture, configuration and customization of ERP systems

Ø Software development (java, etc...)

Ø SQL development

Ø Customer focused

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
The preferred candidate would have:

Ø Prior experience of implementing or supporting a major ERP system

Ø Strong Experience in software development (java is an advantage), and a readiness to learn new programs as they are introduced and incorporated.

Ø Strong Experience in oracle SQl development and report building.

Ø functional knowledge of an ERP application in the business domains listed above

Ø IT Engineering degree

Ø Project management skills

Ø ITIL (Service Management) experience or certification

Ø Capability to remotely support end users

Ø Ability to interact with multi-team environment

Ø Prior knowledge in the power generation industry or similar asset intensive industry

Ø Experience in an international environment

Ø knowledge of ticketing tools (freeware and software)
