Main Purpose of Role
Globeleq is implementing IFS Applications 10 across all sites in London and Africa as a single ERP system. The scope of the single Globeleq IFS system includes all existing and future power plants, as well as the London headquarters and the following domains:

Ø Operations & maintenance

Ø Project & construction

Ø Procurement

Ø Logistics

Ø Finance & controlling

Ø Consolidation & management reporting

Ø Human Resources management

Ø Environment & social governance

The IFS Functional Expert is responsible for providing functional leadership, and administration across the full lifecycle of IFS Applications projects: enhancement projects, rolling out the core model to new Globeleq sites, system changes, etc.

Key Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
Ø Assist stakeholders maximize business value by acting as an advisor regarding solution capabilities and possible solutions to business challenges

Ø Master the validated processes to provide necessary functional support on the application to end users from all domains (O&M, HR, Finance, procurement, etc..)

Ø Develop expertise in the IFS Modules/ functionalities to ensure proper solution mapping/ Gap analysis and prevent system customizations

Ø Act as gardian of Globeleq’s core model and established processes and develop related procedures

Ø Ensure the appropriate execution of the business/ operational processes across the sites and apply corrections with the users when necessary

Ø Provide necessary training to end users and develop appropriate manuals & medias for training and self-service.

Ø Lead and take initiative for product’s adoption

Ø Periodic reporting to management and key stakeholders as required

Ø Assistance to management and end users to secure the first go-live

Ø Engage in functional coordination, design and implementation for the integration of next rollouts within the live environment

Ø Design processes to meet customer’s business requirements, needs and objectives

Ø Application configuration & Data Management

Ø Establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and an understanding of segment business models

Ø Manage and monitoring software enhancements and evolutions

Ø Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests in IFS and the meeting of Service center KPIs

Ø Meet the customer satisfaction objectives

Ø Strict compliance to the Service centre procedures and charter

Ø Proper documentation (processes, knowledge base, designs, testing scenarios, etc....)

Ø Recommend new feature or changes to configuration/ workflows based on user feedback.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
The preferred candidate would have:

· Strong functional knowledge of a major ERP system (IFS Applications will be an advantage) in the business domains listed above

· Prior experience of implementing or supporting an ERP system

· Business knowledge

· Education to a degree level

· Project management skills

· ITIL (Service Management) experience or certification

· Understanding of software development life cycle models, project management principles and practices

· Capability to remotely support end users

· knowledge of ticketing tools (freeware and software)

· Ability to interact with multi-team environment (interns and third-parties)

· Prior knowledge in the power generation industry or similar asset intensive industry
